From its inception and planning stages till its current growth, I am proud to launch my passion project!
Welcome, my name is Chantel Kristin and I am the founder of this travel and lifestyle blog, afroyage!
What is afroyage?
We are an online platform created to showcase, empower and influence generations of Ghanaians and people from the Diaspora on their journey to Ghana, who are interested in building Ghana sociopolitically and economically, through its local tourism industries.
We are driven by a spirit of collaboration and research to deconstruct misconceptions and inspire travelers to explore the environments around them that we strive to showcase.
The Inspiration Behind the Blog
I want to inspire social revolution through travel, and shape a more nuanced African narrative with my contribution.
My goal is to inform the world about African realities & urge the Ghanaian Youth across the Diaspora to come home and share their knowledge and experiences.
Our Edge
Aside filling a gap in the market for Ghanaian travel information, suggestions and recommendations, Afroyage is keen on capturing the experience of different locations in Ghana.
It is our mission to understand the socioeconomic impact of a functioning tourism industry, powered by Ghanaian Nationals and as well as people from the Diaspora.
Conclusion
Ultimately, the goal of this blog is to showcase Ghanaian tourism and lifestyle, thereby empowering and influencing a new generation of people from the Diaspora on their journey back to the motherland.
This vision is achieved by our collective participation in the rich, cultural and geographical heritage and experience within Ghana. We invite you on this journey with us, to explore Ghana and make ourselves at home once again.

Can’t stay away too long from homeland Ghana. Stayed away once for 10years, and I was amazed when I went for a vacation. The changes, and beautiful sights were unbelievably mind blowing. Wished I could stay longer, but sadly I had to leave!
Raise high the flag of Ghana Chantel. This is educative, informative, and with great purpose. Ayikooooo
